CAUTION: Always wear rubber gloves, protective eye goggles, rubber boots and protective clothing when handling. Use extreme caution when cleaning around painted logos and lettering as product may remove or alter some paints and inks. Rinse often and thoroughly - do not allow to dry on fabric.
Awning Fabric Spot Remover may be diluted with water from 1:1 to 1:16 as a usual range. A good starting dilution is 1:8 in hot or cold water. Apply solution directly to awning with a medium brush or terry cloth and scrub gently to loosen and lift soils. Overlap scrubbing to avoid clean streaks. Clean an area small enough to allow immediate and thorough rinsing before moving on to next stain. Do not allow cleaner to dry on surface. After spotting, wash entire awning with WINSOL Deep Clean.
Awning Fabric Spot Remover should be used only on open-weave fabric and polypropylene awnings. If unsure of color transfer, test cleaner undiluted in an obscure corner under awning. Rinse and wipe with white cloth or towel and check for color transfer.
Fabric awnings should be waterproofed at least annually with Awning Guard 690+ to provide manufacturer’s recommended protection. Regular applications of Awning Guard 690+ will make recleaning much easier.
