Fabric Protectant & Water Repellent
Fireline is approved for use on PBI®, GORE-TEX®, Kevlar® and all Nomex®.
All modern turnout gear has a waterproofing agent applied during the manufacturing process. Fireline replaces that waterproofing lost to wear or washing. If these repellents are not replaced frequently, fire fighters may have increased stress, possible hypothermia and steam burn injuries.
Treated fabrics retain their breathability and fire resistance characteristics. In addition, Fireline helps to reduce absorption of potentially hazardous and/or toxic materials as well as potentially combustible stains and soils which may build-up on the gear.
Recommended for: Turnouts, gloves, uniforms, boots, rope, canvas, covers, coveralls, jump suits, protective hoods, and most all fabric.

SDS
Open windows and doors and use fans where necessary to get cross ventilation and prevent vapor buildup. Provide ventilation until fabric is dry. Do not use on plastics, GORE-TEX®, visors, helmets or vinyl reflector strips. Spray fabric evenly holding the applicator about 8 to 10 inches from the surface. Spray even paths allowing the repellent to slightly overlap the preceding path to assure complete protection. allow to dry. Depending on humidity and temperature, it may take 2 or more hours to thoroughly dry and 8 - 12 hours to cure. Test fabric with drops of water. If the water does not bead on the surface or if it penetrates, re-apply Fireline.
Fireline may be used on any washable or dry-cleanable fabric or garment where water proofing is a benefit. Apply it to station gear, uniforms, jackets and fabric hats and boots, and furniture. In fact, use it on anything you wish to defy the elements with.
REAPPLY WINSOL Fireline after each cleaning.
CAUTION: Combustible during 2 - 4 hour drying time. Use only in well ventilated room, away from all ignition sources.
