INCOMPATIBILITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID):   IF MIXING COMPOUND WITH HALIDES OR ACTIVE HALOGENS, CAN CAUSE RELEASE OF THE RESPECTIVE HALOGEN IF MOISTURE IS PRESENT. MIXING WITH SODIUM CHLORIDE CAN CAUSE RELEASE OF CHLORINE GAS AND MIXING WITH CYANIDES CAN CAUSE RELEASE OF HYDROGEN CYANIDE GAS. MIXIMG WITH HEAVY METAL SALTS SUCH AS THOSE OF COBALT, NICKEL, COPPER, OR MANGANESE CAN CAUSE DECOMPOSITION WITH RELEASE OF OXYGEN AND HEAT.

INHALATION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:   EXCESSIVE INHALATION OF DUST CAN CAUSE NASAL AND RESPIRATORY IRRITATION WITH COUGHING AND DISCOMFORT.
SKIN AND EYE CONTACT HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:
EYE       MAY CAUSE MODERATE EYE IRRITATION WITH DISCOMFORT, TEARING, OR BLURRING OF VISION.
SKIN      PROLONGED OR REPEATED AND CONFINED EXPOSURE MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION. REPEATED CONTACT MAY CAUSE DRYING OR FLAKING OF SKIN AND TEMPORARY BODY HAIR LOSS.
SKIN ABSORPTION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:  ALLERGIC SKIN REACTIONS WERE OBSERVED AT HIGH CONCENTRATIONS, BUT AT LOWER CONCENTRATIONS OF 12 PPM AND 150 PPM, NO ALLERGIC REACTIONS WERE NOTED.
INGESTION HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:  SWALLOWING MAY CAUSE GASTROINTESTINAL IRRITATION, NAUSEA, VOMITING AND POSSIBLY PROGRESSING TO NECROSIS OR HEMORRHAGE.
INDIVIDUALS WITH PRE-EXISTING DISEASES OF THE SKIN OR GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT MAY HAVE INCREASED SUSCEPIBILITY TO THE TOXICITY OF EXCESSIVE EXPOSURES.

INGESTION DRINK LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. CALL  PHYSICIAN AND/OR TRANSPORT TO EMERGENCY FACILITY IMMEDIATELY.
INHALATION  REMOVE TO FRESH AIR. IF NOT BREATHING, GIVE MOUTH TO MOUTH RESUSCITATION. IF BREATHING IS DIFFICULT, GIVE OXYGEN. CALL A PHYSICIAN.

SECTION VII - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE

STORAGE: STORE IN A COOL, DRY, WELL-VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM HEAT SOURES.
PALLETS OF 25 KG BAGS CAN BE STACKED. LEAVE OPEN SPACE ON ALL SIDES FOR VENTILATION. DO NOT STORE WITH COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS OR WITH INCOMPATIBLES.
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
SMALL SPILL- SWEEP OR ABSORB LIQUID ON PAPER, VERMICULITE, FLOOR ABSORBENT OR OTHER ABSORBENT MATERIAL AND TRANSFER TO LABELED CONTAINERS.
LARGE SPILL- SWEEP OR STOP SPILL AT SOURSE, DIKE AREA OF SPILL TO PREVENT SPREADING, PUMP LIQUID INTO SALVAGE TANK. REMAINING LIQUID MAY BE TAKEN UP ON SAND , CLAY, FLOOR ABSORBENT OR OTHER ABSORBENT MATERIAL AND SHOVELED INTO LABELED CONTAINERS.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:  REVIEW FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO DISPOSAL
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:  EXERCISE REASONABLE CARE AND CAUTION. STORE IN A COOL DRY PLACE.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:  IF TVL OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY COMPONENT IS EXCEEDED, A NIOSH/MSHA JOINTLY APPROVED AIR SUPPLIED RESPIRATOR IS ADVISED IN ABSENCE OF PROPER ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL. OSHA REGULATIONS ALSO PERMIT OTHER NIOSH/MSHA RESPIRATORS UNDER SPECIFIED CONDITION.
VENTILATION:  PROVIDE GENERAL OR MECHANICAL VENTILATION OR LOCAL EXHAUST TO KEEP VAPOR CONCENTRATIONS BELOW TLV OF MATERIALS IN SECTION II AND LEL IN SECTION IV.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES:  USE IMPERMEABLE GLOVES TO PREVENT PROLONGED SKIN CONTACT.
EYE PROTECTION: USE SAFETY EYE-WEAR DESIGNED TO PROTECT EYES AGAINST LIQUID SPLASH AND MISTS OR DUST. CONSULT YOUR SAFETY EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER.
OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT:  USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING TO PREVENT SKIN CONTACT. USE HEAD CAPS, BOOTS, CHEMICAL APRONS WHEN NECESSARY.
